The Pelham Preservation Society is a not-for-profit organization incorporated
in 1999 for the purpose of fostering community understanding and appreciation of the architecture, historic structures, natural
beauty and aesthetic character of the Town of Pelham and surrounding areas. As a group of volunteer citizens,
we undertake activities to ensure the preservation, restoration and enhancement of these resources.
On this website you will find information and resources to help you preserve your historic
home and enhance your surrounding landscape. You can also find information about our activities aimed at protecting
and enhancing the aesthetic and historic character of our community.
This historic police booth at Pelham's "Four Corners" is being restored by the Pelham Preservation Society, thanks to the generosity
of the community at the organization's 2016 Fundraiser.
Proposed Pelham Village Zoning Changes
The Village of Pelham Board of Trustees has called for a public hearing
on March 22 on proposed changes to the zoning laws to allow 5-6 story apartment buildings in Pelham's downtown. We are raising
community awareness about this proposal.
