Support for Reasonably-Scaled Development

The Pelham Preservation Society has supported reasonably-scaled development in Pelham, such as the 2002 plan for the construction of "Marbury Corners" in the Village of Pelham (completed in 2005).  This 55-unit condominium building and adjacent townhouses, conformed to the existing zoning code height limiit of 45-feet and has an overall design and such wonderful architectural detail that it enhances, rather than detracts from, the surrounding neighborhood.  We also supported the townhouse recently built on Lincoln Avenue and the final design for the proposed apartment building at 139 Fifth Avenue.
